We picked a picture perfect day for Lorraine's first kayak workout with the girls. Kiva Beach, around Emerald Bay (finding and viewing the sunken barge and getting off at Fannette Island to tour the tea castle), returning after a swim on the beautiful sandy beach on South Shore. Nice day in every way, including the welcome home activity for Jan. Okay, so the transition time of unloading and loading the kayaks definitely needs some work, but we got it started today.
