Katrina and Linda hiked Big Meadows to Echo on July 5. Although the 15.3 mile hike turned into a 20 miler, the time on the legs was good. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the company of the cool breeze on a 78 degree day. Katrina then encouraged Lorraine to set out for the kill the next day with another hike with Linda. Francesca joined the hike for the South Kingsbury to Armstrong Pass and then set off for her training run before heading to work. Who the heck in their right mind does a 23 miler and then goes to work? So, Lorraine was left to put the final miles on Linda's legs. Notice the knee wrap on Linda? The kill was working. I think this was a payback for the bike ride last weekend, notice Lorraine's bruised legs in a close up photo? 8 hours later, we found the car and Lorraine simply slowed down to slide Linda out in her front yard. There she remains!
